A manual wheelchair with a nominal 46 cm (18-inch) seat width and synthetic leather seat and backrest. This version shows fixed armrests, a seat belt, separate front footrests, large rear wheels with push rims and rear attendant handles. The folding frame assists transport and storage after the user has left, for mobility during visits and in accessible spaces.

Use

1. Open the chair until the seat is settled, unfold the footrests and check the belt, brakes and wheels.
2. Secure both wheel brakes on level ground and move footrests clear of the entry path before seating the user with appropriate assistance.
3. After seating, place feet on the supports and fasten the belt without excessive tension, then release the brakes to move. A capable user can propel the push rims or an attendant can assist using rear handles.
4. On arrival, secure the brakes and unfasten the belt before transferring. After the user has left, raise the footrests and fold the frame. Clean the seat surface and regularly check fasteners.
