KY871AJR-12-46 Transport Chair, 46 cm Seat

KY871AJR-12-46 Transport Chair

An attendant-propelled transport chair with a 46 cm (18 in) seat, 12-inch rear wheels, smaller front castors, a dark padded seat and backrest, padded armrests, foot support with a calf strap, and rear handles with control levers. The backrest folds to reduce storage space after the user leaves the chair.

Who it suits

The smaller rear wheels are intended for assisted movement through suitable corridors. Check the seat fit, doorway clearance, and the brake system on the delivered unit before use.

How to use

1. Unfold the frame and backrest and check the wheels and supports.
2. Apply the brakes and steady the chair for transfers. Keep feet clear of the foot support when sitting or standing.
3. Position the feet and have an attendant push from the rear handles at a suitable pace.
4. Seek additional help at slopes and kerbs; do not leave the chair unsecured on an incline.
5. Fold only when unoccupied. Clean, dry, and inspect the upholstery, wheels, and brakes.
