Description

KY904BJ-46 Fabric Transport Chair

An attendant-propelled chair with a 46 cm (18 in) dark fabric seat and backrest, four relatively small wheels, and rear push handles. The pictured configuration has a padded armrest swung aside, movable front footrests with a calf strap, and a visible lap belt. The rear wheels do not show self-propulsion push rims.

Transfers and seating

Move the armrest and footrests aside to clear the transfer path, then secure them again before travel. The belt may help maintain a seated position but is not a substitute for individually prescribed postural support.

How to use

  1. Unfold the chair and check the seat, wheels, supports, and brakes.
  2. Hold it steady for transfers and move the footrests and armrest clear.
  3. Secure the supports, place the feet on the footplates, and adjust the belt comfortably.
  4. Have an attendant push from the rear handles on suitable ground; seek help at kerbs and slopes.
  5. Clean and dry the fabric and wheels and inspect the brake and support fixings.

Model: KY904BJ-46, fabric version shown. Confirm the rated load and fittings on the supplied unit.
