Black Manual Wheelchair with Detachable Footrests — 18-inch Seat, KY868LFJ-A-46

KY868LFJ-A-46 manual wheelchair with an 18-inch seat

A black wheelchair with a fabric seat and backrest, large rear wheels with push rims and small front steering castors. The image shows an armrest raised to the side, detachable front footrests, a seat cushion and rear attendant handles with a control lever. These fittings help arrange the transfer area and support the feet during travel.

Practical features

• The listed seat width is 18 inches (approximately 46 cm). Check fit for the user and available passages.
• An armrest can be moved away from the seat side to assist lateral transfers after securing the chair.
• Footrests can be detached to bring the chair closer to a seating position or for storage. Refit and secure them before moving.
• The image shows attendant controls at the push handles and brakes near the rear wheels. Check how each operates on the supplied version.

Use

1. Open the chair and secure the supports. Inspect tyres, brakes, armrests and footrest mechanisms before use.
2. For transfers, stop the chair and secure the wheels, then move footrests away or raise the armrest on the transfer side.
3. After seating, return the armrest and secure the footrests, placing the feet on the footplates.
4. Push using the rear handles or wheel rims according to the user’s ability. Seek assistance on slopes and at obstacles.
5. Clean and dry the seat, frame and wheels. Stop using the chair if brakes or supports do not secure properly.
