8630LAJ-16-41 Transport Chair, 41 cm Seat

8630LAJ-16-41 Transport Chair

A manual attendant-propelled chair with a 41 cm (approximately 16 in) seat, dark upholstery, silver frame, medium rear wheels, smaller front castors, padded armrests, footrests, and a fold-down backrest. The rear wheels in the photograph do not clearly show self-propulsion rims.

Check the fit

The 41 cm figure refers to seat width, not wheel diameter. Check the user’s seating room, foot position, and door widths. Confirm the actual wheel size and brake configuration on the supplied unit.

How to use

1. Unfold the chair and secure the backrest, seat, and supports.
2. Check the brakes and hold the chair steady for transfers, moving the footplates aside.
3. Return the foot supports and let an attendant push from the rear handles on suitable ground.
4. Seek help for kerbs and slopes and never leave the chair unsecured during a transfer.
5. Fold only when unoccupied; clean and dry the upholstery and wheels.
