LC863LAJ-20 Silver Wheelchair, 46 cm Seat

LC863LAJ-20 Silver Manual Wheelchair

A manual chair with a silver frame, dark fabric seat and backrest, 20-inch rear wheels with push rims, smaller front castors, padded armrests, footrests with a calf strap, and rear attendant handles. The listed seat width is 46 cm (18 in). The backrest folds to reduce storage space when the chair is unoccupied.

Choosing the chair

Check seat width, foot position, doorway clearance, and whether the user can comfortably reach the rear push rims. The catalog describes movable armrests, which may help side transfers when the chair is stationary and secured. Confirm their mechanism and the brake arrangement on the supplied unit.

How to use

1. Unfold and secure the frame, backrest, seat, and supports.
2. Check the brakes, apply them for transfers, and move the footplates aside.
3. Position feet on the plates and secure the armrests.
4. Use the push rims or have an attendant push from behind on suitable ground; seek help for kerbs and slopes.
5. Fold only when unoccupied, then clean and dry the fabric and wheels.
