869LX-51 wheelchair with a 20-inch seat

A manual wheelchair with a nominal 51 cm (20-inch) seat width, fixed armrests and front footrests. This version shows large rear wheels with push rims for capable users, rear attendant handles and swivelling front castors. The frame folds for transport and storage after the user has left the chair.

Use

1. Fully open the chair until the seat is settled, unfold footplates and check brakes and wheels.
2. On level ground, apply both wheel brakes before transfers. Account for the fixed armrests and choose an appropriate seating or transfer method with attendant assistance as needed.
3. Place feet on the footplates after seating and release brakes to move. A capable user can use push rims or an attendant can push using rear handles.
4. After the user has left, raise footplates and fold the frame from the seat centre. Clean upholstery and regularly check brakes and fasteners.

Before supply: Confirm frame material, maximum load, dimensions and actual version fittings from the product label. Do not use on stairs or steep slopes without suitable assistance and equipment.
