Rear push handles allow attendant assistance and have brake control levers. The frame and backrest can be folded after the user has left the chair for transport and storage.

Choosing the size

The listed seat width is 18 inches, approximately 46 cm. Before ordering, check seat and foot support fit and doorway and passage widths. The seat cushion provides a padded seating surface. Consult a professional if specific postural support or a therapeutic cushion is required.

Use

1. Fully open the chair and backrest and check seat stability and footrest attachment.
2. Check wheels and brake mechanisms before seating. Secure the chair during transfers and move footplates clear of the feet.
3. After seating, place feet on the supports. Move the chair using the push rims or attendant handles according to the user’s ability.
4. Slow down near slopes and thresholds. Do not leave the chair unattended on an incline and seek appropriate assistance over obstacles.
5. After the user has left, fold carefully with fingers clear. Clean and dry the fabric and wheels and regularly inspect moving parts.
