A manual wheelchair with a nominal 51 cm (20-inch) seat width for everyday mobility when a wider seating area is needed. The design has an aluminium frame, fixed armrests, front footrests and large rear wheels with push rims, allowing capable users to propel themselves or an attendant to push from the rear handles. The frame folds for storage and transport after the user has left.

Use

1. Open the frame until the seat is settled, unfold footplates and check brake operation and wheel condition.
2. On level ground, apply the brakes before seating or transfers. Use attendant assistance because fixed armrests may limit lateral transfers.
3. Place feet on the footplates and release brakes to move. A capable user can propel using wheel rims or an attendant can push from behind. Avoid obstacles and steep slopes.
4. After the user has left, raise footplates and fold the frame by lifting the seat centre. Regularly inspect brakes, bolts and tyres.
