DH01203 manual wheelchair with an 18-inch seat

A manual wheelchair with a nominal 46 cm (18-inch) seat width, for everyday mobility and visits with an attendant or self-propulsion by a capable user. The seat and backrest have a synthetic leather surface that can be wiped, with fixed armrests, folding footplates and swivelling front castors. The folding frame helps with transport and storage after the user has left.

Use

1. Open the chair until the seat is settled, unfold the footplates and inspect brakes and wheels.
2. Place on level ground and apply both wheel brakes before seating or transferring the user. Temporarily raise footplates to clear the feet and use attendant assistance as needed.
3. After seating, lower the footplates and place the feet on them, then release the brakes to move. A capable user can propel using wheel rims or an attendant can push using rear handles.
4. After the user has left, raise footplates and fold the frame by lifting the seat centre. Wipe upholstery and regularly inspect fasteners and brakes.

Note: Folding footplates do not mean that the leg supports elevate or have adjustable angles. Confirm maximum load, dimensions and components of the available version before supply.
