KY904BJ-46 Black Transport Chair, 46 cm Seat

KY904BJ-46 Black Transport Chair

An attendant-propelled transport chair with a 46 cm (18 in) black upholstered seat and backrest, four relatively small wheels, rear push handles, padded armrests, front footrests, and a visible lap belt. The catalog describes synthetic leather upholstery and detachable armrests; confirm the actual finish and fittings on the delivered unit. The rear wheels shown do not have self-propulsion push rims.

Transfers

Remove or move the armrest and footrests out of the transfer path, then refit and secure them before travel. The visible belt can help maintain a seated position but is not a substitute for prescribed postural support.

How to use

1. Unfold and check the chair, wheels, supports, and brakes.
2. Keep it steady for transfers and clear the footplates and armrest as needed.
3. Secure the supports, place feet on the plates, and adjust the belt without excessive pressure.
4. Have an attendant push from the rear handles on suitable ground and seek help at slopes or kerbs.
5. Clean and dry the upholstery and wheels and inspect the support locks and brakes.
