Pharmafix Non-Woven Fixation Tape — Choose Width

Pharmafix is a soft, breathable non-woven fixation tape that can be cut to secure gauze, dressings, absorbent pads, or selected tubes under clinical direction. This range lists 5, 7.5, 10, 15, and 20 cm widths; choose a width suited to the dressing and application site. The adhesive helps retain the dressing. Standard Pharmafix is distinct from the waterproof Pharmafix PU version; check the roll length and product code on the supplied pack.

How to use

1. Clean and dry the skin around the dressing, then cut a piece extending beyond its edges.
2. Peel the release paper gradually and apply over the dressing without stretching against the skin.
3. Press the edges gently and monitor the skin. Replace according to the care plan, or if wet or loose.

Companion supplies

Sterile gauze, an absorbent ABD pad, or Derma-Tulle with a secondary dressing. Do not apply the tape directly to an open wound or use it if sensitive to its components or medical adhesives.
