Derma-Tulle sterile paraffin gauze, 10 × 10 cm, in a 50-piece box as shown on the product pack. Used as a primary contact layer for suitable superficial wounds and minor burns under clinical guidance, its paraffin-impregnated mesh helps reduce adherence while allowing exudate to pass into a secondary absorbent dressing. Check the individual sterile pouch and size before use.

How to use

1. Clean the wound as directed by a clinician and open the sterile pouch using an aseptic technique.
2. Place one layer over the wound, then add a suitable secondary absorbent dressing.
3. Secure with bandage or fixation tape and change according to exudate and the care plan.

Companion supplies

An absorbent ABD pad or sterile gauze, and Pharmafix fixation tape for the secondary layer. Single use only; do not use an opened or damaged pouch. Seek clinical assessment for deep wounds or signs of infection.
