LC863LAJ-16 Transport Chair, 46 cm Seat, 16 in Wheels

LC863LAJ-16 Transport Chair with a 46 cm Seat

A manual chair with dark fabric upholstery, a silver metal frame, 16-inch rear wheels, smaller front castors, padded armrests, footrests, and rear attendant handles with control levers. The listed seat width is 46 cm (18 in), and the backrest folds for storage after the user leaves the chair.

Assisted travel

Self-propulsion rims are not clearly visible in the photograph. Plan for attendant assistance unless the delivered configuration confirms another propulsion method. Check seat fit, foot placement, doorway clearance, and the brake mechanism before use.

How to use

1. Unfold and secure the chair, backrest, wheels, and supports.
2. Check the brakes and hold the chair steady for transfers. Move footplates aside and raise the armrest on the transfer side if appropriate.
3. Replace and secure the supports, then have an attendant push from the rear handles on suitable ground.
4. Slow down for turns and seek assistance at kerbs or slopes.
5. Fold only when unoccupied and clean and dry the upholstery and wheels.
