Pharmafix Non-Woven Fixation Tape — 20 cm

Pharmafix non-woven medical fixation tape, 20 cm wide, is soft and conformable for securing dressings, gauze, absorbent pads, or drainage tubes as directed by a clinician. Its breathable fabric and adhesive help keep the dressing in position. This is the standard Pharmafix range; do not assume it is waterproof. Confirm roll length and product code on the supplied pack.

How to use

1. Clean and dry the skin around the dressing. Cut a piece that extends sufficiently beyond its edges.
2. Peel away the release paper gradually, then position the tape over the dressing without stretching it against the skin.
3. Press the edges gently for adhesion and monitor the skin. Replace as required by the care plan, or if wet or loose.

Companion supplies

A suitable sterile gauze, ABD pad, or absorbent wound dressing. Do not use with known sensitivity to tape components or medical adhesives, and do not apply directly to an open wound.
