Disposable Syringes — Choose Capacity and Needle Option

Single-use medical syringes in 3, 5, 10 and 20 mL capacities, plus 50 mL options listed with or without a needle. Choose the capacity needed to measure or prepare a fluid volume within an approved clinical procedure. The page image shows a 3 mL package as an example; check the selected option and actual packaging details for each size before procurement.

The syringe can be used to prepare, draw up or administer fluids only for the purpose set by a qualified practitioner and the manufacturer’s instructions. Capacity alone does not establish a route of administration or compatibility with any medicine. Confirm needle and tip details, sterility status, pack quantity and expiry when ordering.

How to use

1. Select the capacity and needle option required by the protocol. Check the individual pack for integrity and expiry before opening.
2. Open using aseptic technique. Use a new syringe and needle for one patient and one time only, in accordance with the package directions and facility procedure.
3. Immediately place the used syringe and needle in an approved sharps container. Never reuse them.
